About Us
Shannon Hanson, PhD, PE, SE is the Owner and Project Manager of Lumax Structural Engineering, LLC. She brings 12+ years of work experience working for two of the most high-performing firms in the region. Her wide breadth of knowledge and her ability to deliver projects on time and on budget has led her to start her own firm that maintains a client focus and creative solutions.
Shannon is a licensed Profession Engineer (PE) in Colorado and Texas and is a licensed Structural Engineer (SE) in Utah.

Lumax Structural was started to be a resource for the greater Dever region as well as the rest of Colorado, Utah and Texas. Our years of experience enables us to help the individual resident who may have a dream of a larger space to host during Colorado’s wonderful “Porch Season”, the small business who has structural damage due to a vehicle impact, or an institution who needs to support updated mechanical equipment to better serve their clients. We are here to help you bring your ideas to life and design repairs when life doesn’t go quite as planned.
